What Else am I Working On?

I originally hand coded my website in HTML back in 2012. Websites were just starting to get "responsive" to different screen sizes. It was fun, but the work to update the old code was more than what I wanted to deal with. There are so many templates and platforms that do the heavy lifting for you, it's just easier to use those.

So, one of the things I'm working on is this site. Keeping it up to date and providing content. Not because I have great hopes of being an influencer, or developing a following, but because I want to. This is for me. It's what I feel like sharing with the world. It's also supposed to be a corner of the web that hearkens back to what the internet used to be in it's early days. Stories and connections.

I worked in tech for years, this allows me to keep up my skills. As things change, I'll need to learn and keep up to date. Just using this website template was an adventure. It took a few hours to get my bearings, but nearly 40 years with computers certainly helped.

Project Management

Speaking of learning, I've had my PMP certification since 2005 and I've worked and volunteered as a PM for the last 20 years or so. Even semi-retired, I don't plan on letting that lapse. That means training. And in today's world, that specifically means training on AI. PMI.org has some really great classes on what AI tools are out there for PMPs and how to use them. I highly recommend.
